The silence means we've moved in!!!!

This little orange house is now our home

Yes - we have moved in

This time last month we moved out of the caravan, made the journey across the garden

and into our new home and we are loving every minute of it, bright, cosy, comfortable and warm - pure luxury

I've even got a new office - no excuses now!

All mod cons

Well all that are necessary

like drains

so we now have a working toilet

sink and shower.

Very soon there will be nothing stoppin us from moving in...

We've got the power!!

Yesterday was quite a momentous occasion as we discarded the extension lead and plugged the radio in...

The second bedroom is now complete

 

and the kitchen is in the making

and I mean literally - as Melv has made the worktops

Bedrooms 1 and 2 nearly there

It won't be long before we are taking up residence - bedroom 1 is complete, all bright and breezy

glossed and with a fitted wardrobe

Bedroom 2 is following on fast behind

 

As a bedroom come office - a little more reserved!!!

 

Too busy to blog!!!

So why have we been too busy?

Well let me start with the bathroom...

I gave it a coat of paint and Melv put the floor tiles down

Once he had made them

Next the frame for the cabinets

and the installation of the sink

The cupboards and toilet were to follow

then the wall tiles

and of course a shower

That's a room nearly complete - now that's exciting!!!

Working outside

With the recent warm weather our thoughts turned outside

And we built the terraced beds along the front

Going Green

In the lounge - once prepared

Sal slaps the paint on the walls

Using bold colours is always a bit of a gamble and halfway round we are still not sure

But we have learnt not to be too hasty with our judgement

As once complete it looks smashing!!
